Perkedel Bilis Pedas menggunakan ikan bilis (yang lebih dikenal dgn ikan teri basah) untk dimasak menjadi perkedel. Rasanya asin dan gurih membuat perkedel ni menjadi unik, apalagi jika disantap dgn nasi putih yg hangat. Perkedel Bilis Pedas ni boleh jg dimakan langsung sebagai cemilan. Silahkan dicoba!
Bahan-bahan Perkedel Bilis Pedas :

• 1/4 kg ikan teri basah (bilis)
• 7 cabe rawit, diiris tipis
• 3 siung bawang merah
• 3 siung bawang putih
• 1 sendok kecil merica (tapi bukan sendok teh ya..)
• 1 butir telur ayam
• seledri secukupnya, dirajang kecil-kecil
• tepung terigu secukupnya
• air secukupnya
• minyak goreng secukupnya

Cara membuat Perkedel Bilis Pedas :

1. Bawang merah, bawang putih dan merica, digiling sampai halus (pakai blender lebih cepat).
2. Cuci ikan teri basah
3. Siapkan mangkuk ukuran sedang, masukkan ikan teri basah, bumbu yg dihaluskan tadi, telur ayam, seledri dan irisan cabe rawit.
4. Lalu masukkan tepung terigu dan air, sedikit demi sedikit sampai adonan perkedel menjadi kental dan bisa diambil.
5. Panaskan minyak goreng. Setelah benar-benar panas, kecilkan apinya, lalu ambil adonan perkedel sebanyak 1 sendok teh, masukan ke dlm wajan, ambil lagi adonannya hingga wajan penuh. Goreng hingga matang.
6. Lakukan hingga adonan perkedel habis.
7. Sajikan Perkedel Bilis Pedas dgn saus sambal favorit kamu.

Tips Memasak Perkedel Bilis Pedas :
- Adonan perkedel dimasukkan setelah minyak benar-benar panas. Saat menggoreng, api dikecilkan supaya perkedel matang di luar dan di dalam.
- Kurangi penggunaan cabe rawit jika dirasa terlalu pedas.

Kesenian Lain berasal dari Kampung Nangka Pait, Kecamatan Sukawening Kabupaten Garut. Kesenian Lais pd awalnya diambil dari nama seorang laki-laki yg sangat terampil dlm memanjat pohon kelapa. Pak Laisan yg sehari-hari dipanggil Pak Lais adlh seorang yg sangat terampil memanjat dan memetik kelapa, bahkan jika pohon kelapa yg diambil berdekatan, Pak Laisan / Pak Lais ni tak turun terlebih dahulu ketanah untk berpindah pohon, melainkan langsung melompat dari dahan / pelepah kelapa yg berdekatan. Keahlian Pak Lais tersebut semakin dikenal sehingga ia sering diminta untk mengambil kelapa. Dan ketika Pak Lais melakukan atraksi tersebut, banyak masyarakat terutama anak-anak yg menontonya. Terkadang orang-orang yg menonton bersorak sorai sambil membunyikan tetabuhan.
Atas inisiatif beberapa tokoh masyarakat, ketangkasan Pa Lais kemudian dimodifikasi dlm bentuk lain dan ditampilkan dlm berbagai acara hiburan. Sebagai pengganti pohon kelapa, dipancangkanlah dua batang bambu setinggi ± 12 - 13 meter, dgn jarak renggang sekitar 6 meter.
