Hi. we are having a problem with launching the epic games launcher and therefore not able to download a ue4 editor, we've asked our systems to sort it out, but they have a problem with it too, they need more info to be able to grant us a firewall exception, here what they asked:. Or do a search for windows firewall from the start menu, on the left there's an option to allow a program through windows firewall, you can either find the program in the list and then enable it for your network or if it's not listed you can add it.. The effect of this is that the launcher network traffic is all in-process so no unusual firewall exceptions are necessary. whether this solution becomes the default in future releases is up to epic (obviously) but for those of us tin-foil-hat types this is a great workaround.. Solved for the last 8 hours my steam game launcher has been saying "preparing to launch elder scrolls v: skyrim" now mind this is the solved epic games problem game launcher help.
